Key projects involve increasing the local transmission capacity in Whitefish from 34.5 kV to 69 kV, alongside new underground feeders in Lakeside.
The cooperative's system, comprising over 5,000 miles of power lines and 31 substations, is undergoing multiple infrastructure projects aimed at improving reliability and preparing for future growth. While some disruptions may occur, the work is crucial for maintaining dependable service as demand increases.
