FlexGen Acquires CES to Enhance Battery Storage and Solar Services
FlexGen has acquired CES, a provider of battery storage and solar commissioning services, to enhance its market position. This acquisition allows FlexGen to leverage CES's expertise and existing customer base while integrating the HybridOS platform for improved operational efficiency.

FlexGen has completed the acquisition of CES, a company specializing in battery storage and utility-scale solar PV services. CES will continue to function as a subsidiary, operating its Houston-based remote operations center (ROC) that manages over 1GW of solar PV and 4.5GWh of battery storage.
This acquisition strengthens FlexGen’s capabilities in commissioning speed and asset availability, critical factors in competitive clean energy markets. The integration of CES’s services with FlexGen's HybridOS platform is expected to enhance system performance and reliability. Additionally, FlexGen's earlier acquisition of Powin's assets positions it strategically within the industry, as it aims to capitalize on a growing demand for integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS).
