Fluidstack has raised $830 million in Series A funding, elevating its valuation to $8 billion. The company focuses on converting former crypto mining sites into AI data centers, indicating a shift in the cloud infrastructure landscape towards AI-specific solutions.

Fluidstack has announced an $830 million Series A funding round, raising its valuation to $8 billion, aimed at expanding AI infrastructure. The company, originally founded in the UK as a GPU marketplace in 2017, has pivoted to operating AI data centers, relocating its headquarters to New York.
Total funding for Fluidstack now exceeds $1 billion following previous rounds, including a $200 million raise in early 2025 and a $450 million round in January 2026. Fluidstack is partnering with Bitcoin miners to transform former mining sites into AI-capable facilities, with significant hosting agreements such as a 10-year deal with Cipher Mining projected to generate $3.8 billion in revenue. These developments may enhance revenue predictability for crypto investors, while engagement from firms like Google could validate Fluidstack's market position.
