Fluor Corporation to Lead Pre-Feasibility Study for Surge's Nevada North Lithium Project
Surge Battery Metals Inc. has selected Fluor Enterprises, Inc. to lead the Pre-Feasibility Study at the Nevada North Lithium Project. This partnership marks a transition from exploration to development for the project, which has an Inferred Resource of 11.24 Mt of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent. The PFS is expected to be completed in Q4 2026, facilitating further studies and permitting processes.

Surge Battery Metals Inc. has appointed Fluor Enterprises, Inc. as the lead engineering firm for the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) at the Nevada North Lithium Project, a joint venture with Evolution Mining Limited. This selection signifies a shift into development for Surge, which has identified a high-grade lithium resource.
Fluor will coordinate a consortium of specialized firms and is expected to deliver the PFS by Q4 2026. The project has an Inferred Resource of 11.24 Mt Lithium Carbonate Equivalent, with a recently completed Preliminary Economic Assessment indicating an after-tax NPV8% of US $9.17 Billion. The project is strategically located southeast of Jackpot, Nevada.
