Flynn Gold Reports High Tungsten Grades at Gorge Creek Amid Soaring Prices
Flynn Gold's rock chip sampling at the Gorge Creek prospect reveals tungsten grades up to 14.75%, with elevated silver at 197g/t and gold at 0.64g/t. A coherent tungsten-bismuth anomaly spans approximately 400m by 150m, including a high-grade zone of 250m by 60m. This discovery supports Flynn's exploration strategy in northeast Tasmania, especially as tungsten prices have surged over threefold since May 2025 due to export controls from China.

Flynn Gold (ASX:FG1) has reported high-grade tungsten mineralisation at the Gorge Creek prospect, with rock chip sampling returning grades up to 14.75%. Accompanying this are silver grades reaching 197g/t and gold at 0.64g/t.
The tungsten-bismuth anomaly stretches over 400m by 150m, with a significant high-grade zone measuring 250m by 60m that remains untested by drilling. The discovery aligns with the company's exploration strategy in Tasmania, especially amid record tungsten prices that have increased from US$395/mtu to US$1249/mtu since May 2025 due to China’s export controls. Flynn Gold is also advancing its Golden Ridge Project and mobilising a drill rig for further exploration.
