Former Pininfarina Site in Turin Transitioning to Data Centers Amid Industry Challenges
Alberto Russo, owner of Leva, plans to sell the former Pininfarina facility, highlighting a shift towards data centers due to declining automotive orders. This transition could impact local economic dynamics, emphasizing the need for new investment strategies in the region.

Alberto Russo intends to sell the former Pininfarina factory acquired in 2019 for 7 million euros, a price of 180 euros per square meter. The decision comes as he cites a lack of automotive orders and the necessity for liquidity amid debts exceeding 10 million euros.
Russo expresses hope for the site’s transformation into a data center, as current automotive prospects appear insufficient for sustainable growth. He notes that previous expectations tied to Stellantis and the Fiat 500 have not materialized, signaling a critical pivot in investment focus for the area.
