Former Scotiabank Data Center in Stratford, Ontario, Listed for CA$14 Million for Police Service Relocation
A former Scotiabank data center in Stratford, Ontario, has been listed for sale at CA$14 million as the city considers purchasing it for the Stratford Police Service. The facility, which spans over 100,000 square feet and includes substantial power capabilities, offers a more cost-effective alternative to building a new headquarters, which could cost up to CA$40 million. The city plans to move forward with a letter of intent for the acquisition.

A former Scotiabank office and data center in Stratford, Ontario, is listed for sale at CA$14 million (US$10.08 million). The facility, located at 10-52 Wright Boulevard, spans 100,625 sq ft (9,350 sqm) on 4.08 acres and includes 1,200 amps of power and a 3,600-liter generator capable of supporting operations for 72 hours.
Scotiabank ceased operations at this location in December 2024. The Stratford city council is considering purchasing the property for the Stratford Police Service, as a greenfield build for a new headquarters could cost CA$30-40 million (US$21.6-28.8 million). The city plans to execute a letter of intent with National Trust Company and Scotiabank for the acquisition.
