Fortaleza Secures R$ 1.1 Billion from BNDES for Urban Infrastructure and Water Security
Fortaleza has secured R$ 1.1 billion from BNDES for urban infrastructure initiatives, including R$ 250 million dedicated to water security and urban drainage. The Eixão das Águas project will receive R$ 623 million to enhance its capacity, benefiting 4.1 million residents, while R$ 590 million is allocated for a new data center. These projects aim to strengthen water management and urban resilience, particularly for vulnerable communities.

Fortaleza, in partnership with BNDES, secured R$ 1.1 billion for urban infrastructure projects, including R$ 250 million for water security and urban drainage. The Eixão das Águas project will receive R$ 623 million to double its capacity, benefiting 4.1 million people.
Additionally, R$ 590 million is allocated for a new data center, with R$ 233 million funded by BNDES. The projects aim to improve water management and urban resilience, with a significant impact on vulnerable communities.
