Over 300 residents attended a Franklin County Planning and Zoning Commission meeting regarding a proposed data center near Shaw Nature Reserve. After nearly four hours of discussion and opposition from residents, the commission recommended tabling the county's request for six months. An attorney for the Eckelkamp family requested to also table two rezoning requests for over 600 acres in the Gray Summit area until discussions on data centers resume.
