Frontier Rare Earths Signs Agreement with Carester and Secures $20M from IDC for Zandkopsdrift Project
Frontier Rare Earths Ltd. has signed a Technology Supply Agreement with Carester and secured a $20 million investment from the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa to finance a Definitive Feasibility Study for the Zandkopsdrift magnet rare earths and battery grade manganese project. First production is targeted for 2030.

Frontier Rare Earths Ltd. has signed a Technology Supply Agreement with Carester SAS for the Zandkopsdrift magnet rare earths and battery grade manganese project in South Africa. The company received a US$20 million equity investment from the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa to fund a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). The project aims for first production by 2030 and is designated as an EU Strategic Project, with multiple potential EU funding pathways being evaluated.
