FS Launches 1.6T OSFP IHS Optical Transceivers for AI and HPC Networks
FS has introduced its 1.6T OSFP IHS optical transceivers, including the OSFP-DR8-1.6T and OSFP-2FR4-1.6T models, designed for high-density AI and HPC InfiniBand XDR networks. These modules provide 1.6T throughput compatible with next-generation GB300/B300 architectures, addressing performance limitations of traditional copper interconnects.
The 1.6T OSFP IHS transceivers utilize 8x 200G PAM4 modulation, ensuring higher bandwidth density and energy efficiency. They are verified for use with NVIDIA Quantum-X800 switches and support flexible deployment in air-cooled and liquid-cooled data center environments.
The OSFP-DR8-1.6T integrates Silicon Photonics technology for reduced power consumption, achieving as low as 26W. The modules facilitate high-speed interconnections in AI data centers and cloud computing, supporting significant AI workloads and reducing operational costs.
