Fujikura Increases FY2027 Operating Profit Guidance to ¥310 Billion
Fujikura has revised its fiscal year 2027 operating profit target to ¥310 billion, a 47% increase from prior estimates. The revision is driven by new orders in the telecom systems segment and higher selling prices.

Fujikura has adjusted its fiscal year 2027 operating profit forecast from ¥211 billion to ¥310 billion, marking a 47% increase. The company also raised its first-half operating profit outlook from ¥92 billion to ¥174 billion, an 89% rise.
These adjustments are attributed to new orders for optical components in the telecom systems sector and improved selling prices, alongside a reduced impact from hydrogen-related issues. Analysts indicate that such significant updates shortly after reporting full-year results are atypical, suggesting a dynamic shift in market conditions.
