Fusion Fuel Secures €30 Million Financing for Green Hydrogen Project in Spain
Fusion Fuel, through its subsidiary BrightHy Solutions, has signed binding contracts for a new project platform, funded up to €30 million. The funding will be disbursed in three tranches of €10 million each, contingent on project approvals. The first project will establish a green hydrogen production facility in Spain, aimed at supplying the cement industry, with construction expected to begin in Q1 2026. This initiative aligns with recent EU investments in hydrogen infrastructure, supporting Fusion Fuel's strategy for industrial decarbonization.

The initial project involves a green hydrogen production facility in Spain, with a formal development plan now established. Construction is scheduled to start in Q1 2026. The company also reported progress in other areas, including engineering contracts in Dubai and a biomass project in South Africa. Key upcoming milestones include the start of construction in Spain and the operational launch of the South African project.
