G42 CEO Peng Xiao announced that the UAE will receive advanced AI chip shipments from Nvidia, AMD, and Cerebras within months to support the first 200MW of its planned 1GW Stargate data center cluster. The company plans to produce an additional 200 to 500MW per quarter, aiming for 5GW in total.

Export licenses were secured after providing security assurances to the US government. In November 2025, G42 partnered with Microsoft to expand data center capacity by 200MW, with a total investment commitment from Microsoft of $15.2 billion in the UAE by 2029.
