G42 to Receive AI Chip Shipments in Months for UAE's Stargate Data Center
G42 CEO Peng Xiao announced that the UAE will receive advanced AI chip shipments from Nvidia, AMD, and Cerebras in the coming months to support the initial 200MW of its Stargate data center cluster, part of a larger 1GW plan. The company aims to increase capacity by 200 to 500MW quarterly, ultimately targeting 5GW. This initiative follows a partnership with Microsoft, which includes a $15.2 billion investment commitment in the UAE by 2029.

Export licenses were secured after providing security assurances to the US government. In November 2025, G42 partnered with Microsoft to expand data center capacity by 200MW, with a total investment commitment from Microsoft of $15.2 billion in the UAE by 2029.
