Ganfeng Lithium Injects RMB 667 Million to Enhance Energy Storage Business
Ganfeng Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. has increased its registered capital by RMB 667 million, raising it to approximately RMB 3.176 billion to bolster its energy storage business. The company has recently secured multiple energy storage project bids, including significant contracts in Yunnan and Guangxi, and signed an agreement with the Fenyi County Government to establish a 10GWh zero-carbon industrial base for lithium battery production and energy storage facilities.

On December 19, Ganfeng Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. increased its registered capital by RMB 667 million, raising it from RMB 2.509 billion to approximately RMB 3.176 billion, a 27% increase. Ganfeng Lithium Battery, established in 2011 and jointly held by Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd., Hubei Xiaomi Yangtze Industrial Fund Partnership, and Beijing Jimu Venture Capital, serves as the core battery business platform for Ganfeng Lithium.
The company has recently won several bids for energy storage projects, including a procurement project for a 400MW/800MWh energy storage power station in Yunnan Province and a 300MW/600MWh project in Baise, Guangxi, valued at over RMB 260 million. Additionally, Ganfeng Lithium Battery signed a project with the Fenyi County Government on December 11 to establish a 10GWh PV-ESS Direct & Flexible Zero-carbon Industrial Base, which will include pouch lithium battery production and supporting energy storage facilities.
