GE Vernova announced a potential $250 million revenue loss for its wind power unit in 2025 due to installation delays at the Vineyard Wind project in Massachusetts. The failure to install 11 turbines may result in approximately $400 million in losses.
The project will ultimately consist of 62 turbines. While a drop in order backlog is anticipated, the company expects stable margins for the wind unit in 2026. Tariffs implemented in the second quarter of the previous year also impacted results by around $70 million.
In contrast, demand for GE Vernova's power and electrification units remains strong, with orders rising 65% to $22.2 billion and significant growth expected in 2026. The company forecasts revenue between $44 billion and $45 billion for 2026, surpassing the average analyst estimate of $41.97 billion.
