Georgetown University Partners with Cisco for Wi-Fi 7 Upgrade; Tecto Data Centers to Invest R$200M in Porto Alegre

Georgetown University has partnered with Cisco to enhance campus connectivity by implementing Wi-Fi 7 across classrooms, dorms, and stadiums on both the Hilltop and Capitol campuses. Sabey Data Centers is expanding its partnership with JetCool to simplify and scale direct-to-chip cooling solutions for AI environments nationally, utilizing modular cooling architectures developed with Dell Technologies.

Ripple Fiber has initiated a 126-mile fiber project in Ocean Shores, Washington, with the first customers expected to connect this quarter, expanding to Federal Way next. In Italy, Adtran has secured a deal with FiberCop to deploy optical transport technology across its metro network, incorporating various Adtran products. Tecto Data Centers plans to invest R$200M in a 20MW facility in Porto Alegre, Brazil, named TPOA1, which will be connected to the Malbec subsea cable, with the first phase set to deliver 3MW of capacity by Q4 2026.
