German Investors Explore Productive and Social Opportunities in Paraguay's Alto Paraná
A group of German investors is assessing productive investment opportunities and social impact projects in Alto Paraná, Paraguay, as reported by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC). This visit aligns with the Paraguay 2X initiative, aimed at doubling the country's GDP over the next decade through investment attraction and sustainable job creation.
The delegation, led by Tobías Merckle of Seehaus, seeks to understand the Paraguayan industrial ecosystem and identify ventures that blend economic profitability with social impact. Their program includes visits to Itaipú Binational facilities and a German-owned data center, along with meetings with local industry stakeholders to discuss investment conditions and competitive advantages. The strategy presented by Deputy Minister Rodrigo Maluff emphasizes industrial investment promotion and leveraging energy and geographic location for growth, with Alto Paraná highlighted as a strategic hub for regional investments.
