Gladiator Metals Corp. has received a Class 3 Quartz Exploration Permit from the Government of Yukon for its Whitehorse Copper Project, with a term of five years. This permit follows a positive recommendation from YESAB and allows for resource expansion and new discoveries along the high-grade Whitehorse Copper Belt.
Over 40,000 meters of drilling is planned for 2026, targeting high-grade copper skarn resources at the Cowley and Cub East prospects. The project area has a rich history of copper production, with a previous output of 267.5 million pounds of copper from the Little Chief deposit between 1967 and 1982. The project's accessibility and existing infrastructure may enhance operational efficiency and resource extraction potential.
