Glamox Secures Lighting Contract for South Korea's Largest Offshore Wind Farm
Glamox has won a contract from SHE CO., LTD for marine lighting at the Shinan Ui offshore wind farm. This wind farm, South Korea's largest, will feature 26 turbines generating 390 Megawatts of renewable electricity. Glamox will supply approximately 1,000 specialized marine lights for the transition pieces of the turbines, ensuring safe operation for inspection and maintenance teams.

Glamox has secured a contract to provide marine lighting for the Shinan Ui offshore wind farm in South Korea, the country's largest. The contract, awarded by SHE CO., LTD on behalf of Hyundai Engineering & Steel Industries (HESI), includes the delivery of around 1,000 specialized marine lights for the transition pieces of 26 fixed turbines.
These turbines will generate 390 Megawatts of renewable electricity, surpassing the total output of all existing South Korean offshore wind farms. The lighting will ensure safety for maintenance teams by illuminating both the interior and exterior of the transition pieces.
