Global AI to Develop Data Center on Former Kodak Site Near Denver, Colorado

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Global AI is developing a data center on a 438-acre site near Windsor, Colorado, previously owned by Kodak. The site was acquired for $15.6 million, and the first phase of an 18-24MW facility is anticipated to be operational by the end of 2026.

The company plans to expand the facility to between 50-60MW and potentially up to 1GW, contingent on additional power capacity. Investment for the project is estimated between $2 billion and $20 billion. Global AI also operates a 32MW facility in Endicott, New York, and has partnered with Saudi AI firm Humain to develop large-scale AI data centers in the U.S.
