Globe Telecom Plans $1 Billion Capex for Network Expansion and Starlink Partnership

Globe Telecom, Inc. plans a capital expenditure budget of approximately $1 billion in 2026 for network expansion, primarily targeting data services and fiber infrastructure. The company recently partnered with Starlink to offer direct-to-cell satellite services in the Philippines, aiming for a commercial rollout by March 2026.
Globe's net income fell by 12.79% in Q3 2025, while revenues decreased by 1.68%. For the first nine months of 2025, net income dropped 14.04%, and gross revenues fell to P131.59 billion. Globe is also exploring growth opportunities in data centers, with its Fairview center on track for completion this year.
