Globe Telecom Plans $1 Billion Capex for Network Expansion and Starlink Partnership
Globe Telecom, Inc. is planning a $1 billion capital expenditure in 2026 focused on network expansion and fiber infrastructure, while partnering with Starlink to launch direct-to-cell satellite services in the Philippines by March 2026. Despite a 12.79% decline in net income in Q3 2025 and a 14.04% drop over the first nine months, the company is also pursuing growth in data centers, with its Fairview center set for completion this year.

Globe's net income fell by 12.79% in Q3 2025, while revenues decreased by 1.68%. For the first nine months of 2025, net income dropped 14.04%, and gross revenues fell to P131.59 billion. Globe is also exploring growth opportunities in data centers, with its Fairview center on track for completion this year.
