GMG Secures Capital for Graphene Production Facility Development
GMG's board has approved funding for the engineering and design of the Fulcrum Facility in Richlands, aimed at enhancing graphene production capabilities. This facility is projected to achieve an annual output of 100 tonnes of graphene, with plans to assemble additional production units.

GMG has allocated capital to support the engineering and design of the Fulcrum Facility, which will be located in Richlands, alongside the existing Boundary Facility. The Fulcrum Facility is designed to accommodate the assembly of Graphene Modular Production Units (MPUs), with an operational area for up to five Gen 2.1 plants, each capable of producing 20 tonnes of graphene annually.
Upon full operation, the facility is anticipated to yield 100 tonnes of graphene per year and include the capability to assemble up to 12 additional MPUs annually, potentially adding 240 tonnes of production capacity. The facility aims for self-sufficiency in energy through renewable sources and hydrogen-enriched natural gas, suggesting a significant shift towards sustainable production practices.
