GMO GlobalSign has made TLS Connect by GMO available to small and medium enterprises in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. This Certificate Lifecycle Management tool automates TLS certificate deployment and renewal, addressing the challenges faced by SMEs lacking in-house Public Key Infrastructure expertise.
As of March 15, 2026, TLS certificate lifespans will drop from 398 to 200 days, with further reductions planned for March 2027 and March 2029. SMEs in the UAE, Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines make up significant portions of their respective economies, making this solution critical. Moreover, a shortage of cybersecurity professionals complicates compliance with increasing regulations, making automation essential for effective management.
