Go Sail Cargo and Digital Battery Ltd. Explore Partnership for Zero-Emission Sailing Vessels
Go Sail Cargo is exploring a strategic partnership with Digital Battery Ltd. to integrate advanced hybrid battery systems into new zero-emission sailing cargo vessels. The collaboration aims to incorporate Digital Battery's software-defined architecture, optimizing safety and performance. The project intends to enable net-zero carbon operations by utilizing wind propulsion, solar power, and high-performance energy storage, while also preparing for onboard hydrogen production systems. This partnership positions both companies at the forefront of the zero carbon freight sector.

Go Sail Cargo (GSC) is in discussions with Digital Battery Ltd. (DBL) to form a strategic partnership for integrating next-generation hybrid battery systems into a new fleet of zero-emission sailing vessels.
Initial engineering collaboration is underway to adapt DBL's software-defined battery architecture within GSC's electric clipper range. The partnership aims for fully net-zero carbon operations by combining wind propulsion, solar power, and high-performance energy storage, while using diesel generators solely for emergency backup until hydrogen production systems are available. Digital Battery's technology promises enhanced safety and lifecycle performance, which is expected to improve ROI for vessel operators by reducing fuel costs and maintenance needs.
