Gold Port Corporation is moving to develop road access to its Groete Gold Copper Project in Guyana after difficulties with a contractor. The plan involves constructing 13 kilometers of dirt road, including bridges and drainage.
The Company will purchase heavy equipment to facilitate this work, which is expected to start imminently. Once the road is completed, the camp will be restructured using modular systems, and a core drilling rig will be deployed. The project aims to upgrade the inferred gold-copper resource, previously calculated at 1.57 million gold equivalent ounces.
