Goldbeck Solar Polska to Implement 8 MW/16 MWh Battery Storage in Poland
Goldbeck Solar Polska has secured a full EPC contract to develop an 8 MW/16 MWh battery energy storage system in Przeworsk, Poland, scheduled for operation in early 2027. This initiative represents a significant step in enhancing grid stability and integrating renewable energy in the region.

Goldbeck Solar Polska will deliver an 8 MW/16 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Przeworsk, Poland, under a full EPC contract. This comprehensive agreement encompasses design, procurement, construction, grid connection, system integration, testing, and commissioning, with financial closure already achieved.
The project is set to enhance grid stability and facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the Polish national system. Construction is slated to commence in Q2 2026, with the facility expected to operate by early 2027.
Key components include four battery containers, two power conversion system units, and infrastructure for security and access. The project is supported by LC Energia, Evercon, and InCommodities.
