GoldHaven Completes Initial Drilling at Copeçal Gold Project in Brazil, Plans Phase 2 Program
GoldHaven Resources Corp. completed its inaugural diamond drilling program at the Copeçal Gold Project in Brazil's Mato Grosso State, marking a significant advancement from surface exploration to subsurface discovery. The drilling confirmed gold and copper anomalism, especially at the West Target, which exhibited widespread gold presence in both saprolite and underlying bedrock.
A Phase 2 drill program is planned for mid-Q2 2026 to expand the mineralization and target higher-grade zones. The project benefits from historical exploration data from AngloGold Ashanti, enhancing its geological and technical foundation. The West Target shows potential for a larger mineralized corridor, while additional analysis will refine drilling targets for future exploration.
