Google entered into Power Purchase Agreements totaling 1.17 GW with Clearway Energy Group for power supply to its data centers in Missouri, Texas, and West Virginia. The agreements, amounting to over $2.4 billion, will support operations in the Southern Power Pool, ERCOT, and PJM Interconnection markets for up to 20 years.

Construction will begin in 2023, with initial sites expected to be operational in 2027 and 2028. This marks Google's first PPA of 2026, following previous renewable contracts in 2025. Clearway's stock rose 7% in premarket trading following the announcement.
