GR Engineering Secures $68 Million EPC Contract for Northparkes Project
GR Engineering has been awarded a $68 million EPC contract for the Northparkes coarse particle flotation project in New South Wales. This project aims to enhance copper recovery and energy efficiency at the site, contributing to Evolution Mining's broader investment strategy.

GR Engineering Services has secured a $68 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Northparkes Mining Services, a subsidiary of Evolution Mining, for a project in New South Wales focused on coarse particle flotation. The project, located 300km west of Sydney, aims to boost copper recovery and energy efficiency at the Northparkes copper-gold mine.
Early works are currently in progress, and the project will be executed by GR Engineering's Brisbane team. This initiative is part of a larger $545 million capital investment by Evolution Mining to enhance the mine's long-term operational capacity. The upgrades are anticipated to improve cost competitiveness and strengthen Northparkes' position in the global copper market.
