GrandBridge and PowerBank Enter Co-Development Agreement for Ontario Solar and Battery Storage Projects
GrandBridge Corporation and PowerBank Corporation have established a co-development agreement for solar energy and battery storage projects in Ontario. The agreement allows for the development of projects with a minimum capacity of 2 MWac within GrandBridge Energy's service territory.
PowerBank will lead project development, while GrandBridge will provide capital and co-own the projects, with an 80/20 ownership structure. The partnership aims to respond to local energy demands and will focus on submissions under IESO’s procurement programs and other commercialization opportunities. The collaboration is set for a three-year development period, targeting areas including Brantford and Cambridge.
