STRATEGIC MINERALS
Graphite One is advancing plans for a graphite processing plant in Weathersfield Township, Ohio, with initial operations expected by 2027. The facility will start with a finishing and blending plant, followed by four graphitization plants aimed to produce 100,000 tons of artificial graphite annually.
Construction for the initial facility is projected to begin in six to nine months and will create around 24 jobs. The project has a total budget exceeding $1 billion and will encompass 88 buildings upon completion, generating more than 150 jobs. Future operations may be linked to a mine in Alaska anticipated to be operational by 2030.
