Graphite One to Launch Weathersfield Township Plant with 100,000 Tons Annual Output by 2027
Graphite One plans to develop a graphite processing plant in Weathersfield Township, Ohio, expected to start shipping materials by 2027. The project will include four graphitization plants producing a total of 100,000 tons annually, initially beginning with a finishing and blending facility. Construction is anticipated to commence within six to nine months, creating approximately 24 jobs. The overall project cost exceeds $1 billion, with the potential for future operations linked to a mine in Alaska expected to begin by 2030.
