Greece Advances Data and Energy Corridor Talks with Saudi Arabia
Greece's Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou met with officials in Riyadh to enhance cooperation on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and the East-to-Med Corridor (EMC). The discussions included initiatives for a green hydrogen electricity interconnector and private sector projects, aiming to position Greece as a vital hub for energy and data flows as Saudi Arabia seeks to diversify its economy. This engagement coincides with the centennial celebration of diplomatic relations in 2026.
