Grenada Secures $8.7 Million Financing for Battery Energy Storage Project
The Government of Grenada has secured a financing package of up to $8.7 million for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project. The funding includes a $5.7 million loan and about $3 million in grants from the Caribbean Development Bank, with contributions from Canada, the UK, and the EU. This project aims to enhance Grenada's electricity grid reliability and promote renewable energy integration.
