GridMarket and Deployable Energy Launch $22.5B Nuclear Initiative for Data Centers
GridMarket and Deployable Energy have partnered to deliver up to 500 MW of nuclear power annually, targeting data centers and industrial clients through 2035. This collaboration is critical as infrastructure demands for reliable, low-emission power escalate, particularly in the face of increasing energy consumption from AI and cloud computing.

GridMarket and Deployable Energy have initiated a partnership to deploy 3 GW of nuclear power through 2035, with an estimated contract value of $145 billion over 40 years. The focus will be on developing the Unity Nuclear Battery, which recently achieved criticality, to support data centers and energy-intensive infrastructures.
Targeting 500 MW of capacity annually from 2030, the partnership will leverage GridMarket's customer base and sites for commercialization. This collaboration addresses the urgent need for scalable, firm power solutions amid rising electricity demands in the tech sector. As the pilot project progresses, further details on customer engagement and deployment strategies will emerge.
