GridStor has finalized a $120 million financing agreement with NORD/LB and Siemens Financial Services for the Gunnar Reliability Project, a 150 MW, 300 MWh battery energy storage facility in Hidalgo County, Texas. The project is set to be operational by late 2026 and currently employs over 100 skilled workers.

It will deliver power equivalent to 95,000 average Texas households during peak demand periods. This financing includes construction and tax equity loans, and follows a tolling agreement with a Fortune 500 company announced in December 2025. This marks Siemens Financial Services' first collaboration with GridStor, while NORD/LB has previously supported the company.
