The ship is designed for efficient transport of both traditional and electric vehicles. Grimaldi plans to expand its operations in the Philippines, connecting China to Batangas with two monthly departures and aiming for additional port connections.
The inaugural voyage will start this week, carrying over 5,800 cars and reaching the UK, Spain, and Belgium, with a return to China expected by the end of April. The vessel meets strict emission standards and includes features for future ammonia use and cold ironing.
