Groningen Airport Eelde Launches Biweekly Flights to Norwich with LYGG
Groningen Airport Eelde will launch biweekly flights to Norwich on March 4, operated by Finnish company LYGG, with services scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays. The airline, which aims to create a North Sea Route connecting multiple airports, has reported sufficient demand for this new route, potentially paving the way for additional connections in the future. This initiative is expected to enhance travel options for both leisure and business passengers.

Groningen Airport Eelde will begin biweekly flights to Norwich starting March 4, operated by Finnish company LYGG, a regional air mobility platform. Flights will take place every Wednesday and Thursday, with ticket sales already open.
The specific aircraft type will depend on demand. LYGG aims to establish a North Sea Route connecting various airports, including Stavanger, Esbjerg, Humberside, and Den Helder. The airline reports sufficient demand for the Eelde-Norwich route, with potential for adding more connections in the future, which may lead to additional routes for Groningen Airport Eelde. Jonas van Dorp, Manager Commerce & Business Development, notes that this development enhances the airport's offerings for both leisure and business travelers.
