GT Resources Secures Gold-Copper Porphyry Project Near Casino Deposit in Yukon
GT Resources Inc. has signed an earn-in agreement to acquire the CD project in the Yukon, featuring a gold-copper porphyry target with drilling permits valid until 2033. This project is geologically similar to the Casino deposit, which holds significant resources, allowing for potential large-scale discoveries in an underexplored region.

GT Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GT) has entered into an earn-in agreement to acquire the CD project in Yukon, located near Carmacks, which boasts drilling permits valid until 2033. The CD project contains a well-developed gold-copper porphyry target and a secondary, untested gold-silver system.
The company plans a total of $10 million in exploration expenditures over five years, including a 2,500 to 3,000 meter diamond drilling program. This project aligns with their strategy in Yukon, enhancing their portfolio that includes critical metals projects in Canada and Finland. The potential for significant mineral discoveries in the Dawson Range Gold Belt may attract further investment, but operational risks remain due to the region's underexplored status.
