GTData to Expand Data Centers in South America with $25 Million Investment
GTData, part of Grupo Romero, plans a $25 million expansion of data centers in South America. The company has acquired 49% of GTData for $109.8 million and is assessing opportunities in new markets. Key initiatives include the second phase of the Lurín data center in Lima, with a capacity of 20 MW and 960 racks, scheduled for completion in 2026. In Chile, GTData expanded its Panamericana center and will increase capacity in Puerto Montt by 30 additional racks.
