Guadalupe County Considers Tax Abatement for Data Center Project
Guadalupe County Commissioners are set to evaluate a tax abatement agreement linked to a multi-million-dollar data center. The decision comes amid ongoing discussions regarding potential impacts on community resources and land use.

At a scheduled meeting, Guadalupe County Commissioners will revisit a proposed tax abatement package for a data center project, initially presented on February 24. The agreements will detail the company’s investment commitments and terms for county tax incentives.
Public concerns have emerged regarding the implications of such developments on land use, water, and energy demand, particularly in rural areas. Residents will be allowed to voice their opinions during the meeting.
Additionally, the court will recognize Parker James Gilman for community service achievements. The meeting is set for 10 a.m. at the Guadalupe County Courthouse.
