The Guangdong Energy Tuokexun Wind Power Energy Storage Project features a 50MW/100MWh energy storage system, which is part of a larger 1GW wind power initiative in Xinjiang's Tuokexun County. The first phase, consisting of 50 turbines of 10MW capacity each, has achieved full-capacity grid connection.

The energy storage system, provided by Beijing Welion New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., aims to stabilize wind power output and enhance renewable energy consumption. Construction is led by Guangneng Tuokexun New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd., with an annual green electricity output expected to be around 900 million kWh post-commissioning.
