Gujarat Mineral Q1 Profit Stable, Nalco Sees 91% Surge in Earnings
Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation reported a net profit of Rs 163.43 crore for Q1 FY27, showing stability year-on-year. In contrast, National Aluminium Company Ltd experienced a significant profit increase of 91%, reaching Rs 2,003.14 crore due to favorable aluminium prices.

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation's consolidated net profit for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, was Rs 163.43 crore, a slight decrease from Rs 163.77 crore in the same quarter last year. However, total revenue increased by 21.28% to Rs 982.79 crore compared to Rs 810.30 crore in the previous year.
In a contrasting performance, National Aluminium Company Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,003.14 crore for Q1 FY27, up from Rs 1,049.48 crore, attributed to rising aluminium prices and higher revenue. This disparity in performance highlights the varying impacts of market conditions on different sectors within the mining and minerals industry.
