Gunnison Copper Initiates Extensive Drilling Program for Resource Expansion and Optimization
Gunnison Copper Corp. has launched a comprehensive drilling program at its Gunnison Copper Project, committing to 138,000 feet of drilling. This initiative aims to enhance resource expansion, metallurgical optimization, and support ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study activities, which are crucial for bolstering domestic copper supply.

Gunnison Copper Corp. has commenced a district-wide drilling program encompassing up to 120 drill holes and approximately 138,000 feet of drilling in Arizona. The total estimated cost for this program is US$15 million, aiming to provide critical data for resource expansion and metallurgical optimization.
The program will initiate with metallurgical drilling using two rigs, expanding to six rigs post third-quarter 2026 when a new processing facility is operational. The metallurgical phase includes 36 drill holes and 270 column leach tests.
Following this, a resource drilling program will target 84 additional drill holes to expand known mineralization and upgrade resource classifications. The Gunnison Project's Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource stands at over 846 million tons with a 0.33% copper grade. The economic assessment indicates promising potential, yet emphasizes the speculative nature of the Inferred Resources.
