H-Power Signs 5,000 kg Hydrogen Sale Contract with Protium
H-Power plc has secured a contract to deliver 5,000 kg of green hydrogen to Protium, marking a significant step in its commercialization efforts. The company aims to expand its market presence in the Middle East amidst increasing demand for emission-free energy solutions.

H-Power plc, formerly AFC Energy, reported revenues of £0.2 million for the six months ending April 2026, with a reduced loss compared to the previous year. The company is strategically expanding its operations by delivering two LC30 fuel cell generators to TAMGO for trials in Saudi Arabia, catering to the growing need for clean energy in remote areas.
The British Environment Agency has approved hydrogen exports from Dunsfold, which may enhance market acceptance of its products. Following the name change, H-Power's stock has seen a 30% increase year-to-date, although it remains below its 52-week high. The next months are critical for scaling operations and achieving commercial viability, particularly with the ammonia cracker technology.
