The H2 Olona Hydrogen Valley project is underway in Cairate, Italy, with a focus on producing green hydrogen and renewable energy. The project will occupy 550,000 square meters of an abandoned site, utilizing a 2 MW electrolyzer powered by a dedicated photovoltaic park, initially producing 100 tons of green hydrogen annually, with potential growth to 500 tons.
Wastewater from local municipalities will be processed, extracting resources to support energy production. This initiative aims to create a circular economy model, enhancing local environmental efficiency and industrial recovery. The engineering design is led by Ing Srl, contributing to broader national Hydrogen Valley developments.
