Uzbekistan's TMK Collaborates with CCECC and Hygreen on Green Hydrogen Projects
Uzbekistan's TMK has entered a trilateral MoU with CCECC and Hygreen to advance large-scale green hydrogen initiatives. This partnership is pivotal for Uzbekistan's strategy to enhance its industrial sector and promote sustainable energy solutions.

Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) has signed a trilateral memorandum with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and Hygreen Energy to develop green hydrogen production facilities. The agreement focuses on the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Financing (EPC+F) model, aiming to establish electrolyzer complexes in the Nurabad and Akhangaran districts and attract international financing.
This initiative supports Uzbekistan's strategy to diversify its industrial base and increase the processing of critical minerals while promoting low-carbon manufacturing. The potential impact includes positioning Uzbekistan as a regional hub for sustainable industrial technologies and attracting further international investments.
