H2APEX and East Energy Form Joint Venture 'Hanseatic H2' for Green Hydrogen in Germany
H2APEX Nova Holding GmbH and East Energy Group have formed a joint venture named 'Hanseatic H2' to develop four standardized 5MW electrolysis plants in Northern and Eastern Germany. This initiative aims to meet the increasing demand for green hydrogen, particularly from the mobility sector, with hydrogen supplied via trailer deliveries.
H2APEX brings experience from its ongoing IPCEI-funded 100MW project in Lubmin, while East Energy contributes its expertise in renewable energy projects. The joint venture will streamline project execution through standardized processes, enhancing economic viability. The next steps include establishing the project company and commencing joint development, contributing to the regional energy transition and hydrogen infrastructure.
