H2Pro Plans 150MW Green Hydrogen Project in Spain with Sun Systems
H2Pro is set to establish a 150MW green hydrogen facility in Tarragona, Spain, in collaboration with Sun Systems. The project will utilize H2Pro's novel decoupled electrolyser technology, enabling efficient production from solar electricity, and is projected to require a total investment of up to €300 million.

H2Pro aims to develop a 150MW green hydrogen facility in Tarragona, Spain, in partnership with Sun Systems. Initially, the project will feature a 25MW electrolyser, producing 1,250 tonnes of hydrogen annually, with plans to expand to 150MW by 2032.
The total investment for this project could reach €300 million. The facility will leverage H2Pro's decoupled water electrolysis technology, which allows hydrogen and oxygen to be produced at different times, improving efficiency and safety.
The hydrogen generated will be supplied to industrial users and injected into Enagás' natural gas network. This development is significant as it aligns with Spain's future hydrogen infrastructure plans, including the H2Med corridor.
