Hadrian has completed a Series D funding round, raising $1.37 billion and achieving a valuation of $7.87 billion. Led by J.P. Morgan's Strategic Investment Group and Baillie Gifford, the funding will be utilized to expand production and enhance R&D capabilities, including new facilities in Arizona and Alabama.
Over the next year, Hadrian aims to enter ammunition and autonomous systems production. The company’s valuation has quadrupled since January, reflecting a significant increase in military technology investments.
This funding will also upgrade the Opus software critical to U.S. manufacturing, which is expected to be adopted by major defense contractors. The ongoing geopolitical instabilities are likely to sustain this upward trend in defense spending.
